Safeguarding policy

Mostutor is a young, independently-run marketplace. We take safeguarding seriously, and we'd rather be honest about where things stand today than imply more than is actually in place.

What's in place today: every conversation between a student/parent and a provider happens through Mostutor's own messaging first, so there's a record if a concern is ever raised. Provider profiles show whatever experience and verification details they've chosen to share.

What's not formal yet: Mostutor does not currently run mandatory DBS (or equivalent) background checks on providers, and does not yet have a dedicated safeguarding officer. If a DBS check matters to you — for example for a younger learner — ask a provider directly whether they hold one, the same way you would for any independent tutor found outside a platform.

If something feels wrong — inappropriate contact, a safety concern, a provider misrepresenting their qualifications, or anything else — use the form below. Reports go straight to a real person, not an inbox nobody checks.
